Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FreeContractorsWebsite.com and the website-building service (the "Service") provided by Ahoj Marketing Inc., a corporation registered in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada (Corporation Number 16848001, Business Number 771489960RC0001). By submitting the form, booking a call, or making a payment, you ("Customer," "you") agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

We build and host a website for your contracting business based on the information, service area, and images you provide. The Service includes hosting, SSL security, basic local SEO setup, ongoing hosting and maintenance, and one text edit and one image edit per month.

2. Pricing and Payment

• The Service is billed at $59/month with no contract.
• Your first $59 payment is charged when you start your build.
• By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method $59/month on a recurring basis until you cancel as described in Section 4.
• Prices may change for renewal periods with at least 30 days' notice.

3. Turnaround Time

We aim to have your site ready within 48 hours of receiving complete information and images from you. Delays caused by incomplete or delayed information from the Customer may extend this timeline.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel at any time by contacting us at info@freecontractorswebsite.com. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund amounts already charged.
• Don't like your website? We'll refund the build fee — domain costs are non-refundable, since that's a third-party expense once purchased.
• Monthly hosting fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable for the current billing period, but no further charges will occur after cancellation.
• If you believe you were charged in error, contact us first at info@freecontractorswebsite.com before disputing the charge with your bank — we will resolve legitimate billing errors directly.

5. Ownership

• While your subscription is active, the website is hosted and maintained by us.
• After 12 consecutive monthly payments, ownership of the website transfers to you. You may request a handover to your own hosting provider or continue with us at the then-current monthly rate.

6. Edits and Support

Each plan includes one text edit and one image edit per month. Additional edits beyond this may be subject to an extra charge, which we will disclose before performing the work.

7. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate business information, licensing details, and images
• Ensuring you have the rights to use any images, logos, or content you send us
• Reviewing your site content for accuracy once published

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to publish false, illegal, defamatory, or infringing content, or to misrepresent your business licensing or credentials.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee specific results such as a certain number of leads, calls, or search ranking positions. Local SEO setup improves visibility but does not guarantee rankings.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ahoj Marketing Inc.'s total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles — regardless of whether you are located in Canada or the United States.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
